Women Empowerment – Aatam Sodhan
Aatam Sodhan works with underprivileged women in Nangloi, Delhi, to empower them through skill-building and livelihood opportunities. The organization conducts stitching and tailoring classes, along with time-to-time workshops, to help women:
Develop practical stitching and designing skills.
Earn from home by taking tailoring work.
Get employment opportunities in boutiques or start their own small businesses.
Enhance confidence and self-reliance through continuous learning.
These initiatives enable women not only to generate income but also to achieve dignity, independence, and long-term career growth.
Under the Women Empowerment Program of Aatam Sodhan NGO, we implement small-scale livelihood initiatives designed to promote economic independence among women. These projects focus on skill development, income generation, and entrepreneurship support.
The Diya Decoration and the Wax Tablet Making Project are key initiatives under this program. Through these activities, women receive training in product decoration, packaging, quality enhancement, and basic marketing skills. By participating in these projects, women are able to generate sustainable income, strengthen their self-confidence, and improve their socio-economic status while contributing positively to community development.

The Wax Tablet Making Initiative is a skill development project implemented under the Women Empowerment Program of Aatam Sodhan NGO. The primary objective of this initiative is to enhance the economic independence of women by providing structured vocational training in wax tablet production.
The program offers comprehensive training that includes raw material selection, wax melting and molding techniques, fragrance formulation, product finishing, packaging, quality control, and basic marketing strategies. In addition to technical skills, participants are guided in entrepreneurship development, cost estimation, pricing, and small-scale business management.
By equipping women with practical skills and business knowledge, the project enables them to establish home-based enterprises or seek employment opportunities within the local market. This initiative promotes financial stability, self-reliance, and confidence among women, thereby contributing to sustainable community development.
